Glossy no-etching protection for marble, granite, and laminated hard surfaces.

SIO4 is a glossy 6-micron hard-surface coating designed to protect marble, granite, laminated table tops, and similar interior surfaces from etching, staining, and day-to-day wear. It creates a slick hydrophobic layer that helps surfaces stay cleaner, resist chemical attack, and maintain their original appearance longer.

What It Protects Against

Etching chemicals, lime, UV discoloration, water spots, dirt buildup, and everyday surface wear. The product materials also call out resistance to HF, hydrochloric acid, and citric acid.

How to Apply

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly.
  2. Sterilize / final-clean the surface.
  3. Apply a thin, even layer with the cotton pad.
  4. Allow it to cure fully before regular use.

Important Prep Notes

Surface must be fully clean and completely dry before application. Wear nitrile gloves. For best results, use Steril Cleaner first and remove all contamination, grease, residue, or mineral buildup so the coating can bond correctly. If spraying instead of wiping, keep humidity below 65% and properly scuff / filter / prep the surface first.
