The ultra-hard ceramic base layer that transforms factory clear coat into a smoother, stronger foundation.

H9+++ Gorilla Basecoat is a near-permanent, non-hydrophobic ceramic basecoat engineered to push paint protection toward maximum hardness and durability. Its job is not to be the final slick top layer, but to create an ultra-hard, smooth foundation that strengthens factory clear coat and improves the overall performance of the layers applied above it. Use it on paintwork and wheels when you want a tougher, more refined base before topping with a Nano-Ceramic topcoat.

How to Apply

  1. Wash, decontaminate, and fully correct the surface before application.
  2. Apply Gorilla Basecoat to paintwork or wheels using the recommended applicator method.
  3. Allow the basecoat to set and begin curing on the surface.
  4. If applying a Nano-Ceramic topcoat, wait at least 2 hours before applying SIO1, SIO2, or SIO3.
  5. Follow the full written application instructions and product video for exact technique and process timing.

Important Prep Notes

This product performs best on paintwork and wheels that are in new or like-new condition. For best results, fully correct and polish the surface before application. Once cured, Gorilla Basecoat can only be removed by machine polishing with an aggressive pad and compound. If topping with SIO1, SIO2, or SIO3, wait at least 2 hours after applying the basecoat before applying the next layer.
